The Nigerian Senate has finally passed the Nigerian Peace Corps bill.

The Senate, today 25 July, passed the bill on an advice by the committee on judiciary, human rights and legal matters
The upper legislative chamber adopted a conference committee report on the bill before passing the bill..

Recall, in May, Nigerian Senate, postponed the passage of Nigerian Peace Corps Bill, over the allegation of fraud in the recruitment exercise by the organisation.
The bill had been long overdue had suffered a lot of setback in the past.
