Real Madrid has a January striker wish list - but  Zinedine Zidane could wait until the summer and sign Timo Werner.
That's according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon who reckon the LaLiga champions will look to bolster their attacking options in January.
However, it's suggested Zidane is at odds with Florentino Perez and wants to hold fire to sign Werner.
The young RB Leipzig star is regarded as one of Europe hottest prospects.
he wouldn't be eligible to feature in the Champions League. 
Real could sign him in January, but he wouldn't be eligible to feature in the Champions League.
With that in mind, Don Balon say Zidane is willing to be patient.
Werner impressed for Leipzig the last term, bagging 21 goals in all competitions.
The striker has carried on where he left off., netting four goals in as many games this season.
Werner, who is under contract until 2020, has admitted he's open to a LaLiga or Premier League switch.
"So far, I have progressed very well with Leipzig," he told Sport Bild
