Ronaldo kept his attack all South American with fierce rivals Argentina represented by Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.
Unlike Maradona, Messi has never won the World Cup, with the current side struggling to make next summer's finals in Russia.
The retired striker, named European Footballer of the year in 1997 and 2002, opted for a 4-2-4 formation to pack in as much attacking prowess as possible.
