Lionel Messi proved he is more of a team player than Cristiano Ronaldo in Barcelona’s win over Girona.
Messi has smashed in 12 goals in eight games this season but couldn’t get on the scoresheet for the 3-0 victory that maintains Barca’s 100% record and keeps them seven points of Real Madrid, who recorded a 2-1 win over Alaves.
And Spanish outlet But Don Balon claim Ronaldo could learn from his Ballon d’Or rival Messi by being more of a team player.
The report claims Messi worked hard off the ball and to try and integrate his team-mates into the game whereas Ronaldo got ‘annoyed on several occasions’.
